What would happen if every man on this planet suddenly died?
The world would keep on turning, life would go on and when all the wreckage is cleaned away, the survivors would have to face the question: What’s really left of the world they knew?

Some aspects of this question are touched in “&eva”. In this fictitious setting the catastrophe – the sudden death of all men on earth – has happened three years ago and a new era begins, in which the women can start thinking about the future again.

The players embody pre-written characters, playing survivors of the catastrophe, who registered for a fertilization-program launched by the Austrian government. Within a family or a group of like-minded people of three they aim to be the first one’s to co-create a new future for womankind. Perhaps it’s them who will be allowed to raise a child and therefore to form society forever.

In a selection process led by an official commission their fate will be decided within one weekend of time.

“&eva” was inspired by the Norwegian game “mad about the boy”, written by Margrete Raaum, Tor Kjetil Edland and Trine Lise Lindahl.
It was accompanied by intense workshops, which took place one week before the game.
