DESCRIPTION
The first run of Class of 87 featured of course our meanwhile improved “mode of coincidence” for character development. The main story revolved around a high-school class in the mid-80s of the last century and was designed to be played with overacting and lots of drama. And lots of drama we got, but we as designers were astonished by some storylines that developed, which were deeply touching, silent and almost unnoticed.
Although only with 9 participants, seemingly endless stories were created by randomly connecting characters, that only after the debriefing we realised the full complexity of this LARP.
